Codex sessions in T3 Code had no way to answer "what model are you / what harness is this?" accurately. This appends a small <runtime_info> line to the per-turn developer instructions with the harness, model, and reasoning effort — built from the same resolved values sent in collaborationMode.settings, so the prose and settings can't disagree. The copy is framed as "in case you're asked" so the model doesn't volunteer it.

Per-turn means new threads, resumed threads, and mid-session model/effort switches all get fresh values automatically.
